Jan Levine: Embrace the race for fourth or aim for first in the division?
Which direction makes the most sense?

You go for first for home ice advantage. Whether you finish first and play a Metro wildcard in the first round, or finish in a wildcard spot and face the winner of the Atlantic, you're gonna end up playing the Metro powerhouses in the 2nd/3rd round of the playoffs. May as well have home ice advantage when you get there.

despite the fact that we have virtually clinched the playoffs already, I imagine we will still lose our minds at every single loss the rest of the season.

Because that's who we are dammit

Go for it, win the whole (frank)ing thing! I don't care how well they are doing, they are the Columbus Bl Jackets, they can & will be overtaken. Pitt & the Caps are another story. Good to see the Caps beat the Pens in regulation last night.

When you play for a particular matchup or shoot for a particular positron is where you get burned. Asked play your best and deal with the cards you are dealt. Rangers can beat anyone when healthy, even Pittsburgh.

Hopefully, anyone know how he did down in AHL? Know he scored in first game, but not sure how remainder of games went.

Should be nice to have Nash and possible BUCH back in lineup!!!! Lets go ZIB

You cant play down to your slot ......you can when its 1 game and its either Pitt or Fla 1st round..But 3 months out how do you play down to staying in 4th slot...
makes no sense since its also on how the other teams play out the last 3 months
projecting if this is what your doing now then this is where we sill be at the end ?
NO I dont think so.... ask the Knicks who were 14 -10 a while back lookin for there defense ,still havnet found the D and how 's the record look now like 1 -9 last ten and the win was a accident comeback from a scrub.....
Play for 1st ...Period with our health as the only thing holding us back....
CBJ ? I D K think the stardust whore off ...also how many times when a long streak like theres they will 500 or right under it rest of season.....
Pitt & Wash ... any injuries like we have had ? Pitt has played hard in spursts this season Wash started slow & has grown into game ....
NYR -Pitt Wash would be nice as to the 1-8 seeds for P O's ..... may not see wither one till E C F's ? but play to win ..PERIOD L G R

My opine on our D is a little more optimistic tham most

I dont see the need to upgrade D ... with Mac & shey & 5 other top D men
that can play off of the top 2 pair & also supplement the toppair when needed is going to be our back bone of the team ..Goal & D when the P O's start
O will fly but the constant will be our D & goal.....
If a great deal fall into our laps (Trouba ) is mine take it & run BUt we can win
if Mac & shey settle in for a nice 3 month workout ill P O's start & flourish

if u watch Cleve. S F or sanAntonio thats 3 teams out of 30 that are
one full step ahead of the others in all phases of the game...
its like N England & the rest of football in East way ahead for many reasons...
I was jet fan still am but cant follow a losing proposition before it even starts

The Knicks are a frigign joke.
One guy doesnt like the coach so he goes AWOL (Rose), another guy doesn't like the way the game is going, and is pissed because he didnt think of going AWOL so he purposely gets thrown out of the game (Melo) and then Joakhim Noah is there and nothing more needs to be said about that:
